Afyon White

Dating from the paleosoic era,
this marble is a classical metamorphical one. The marble found as lenses inside
the Afyon Metamorphites. Mode of green schist facies is overlied ny neogene Volcanites.
It consists of calcite crystals of granoblastic texture. Being mainly white, it
contains occasional yellow veins.
Can be utilized in interior/exterior
plating, statues, decorations and monuments.
The suitability to take block
and plate, to cut sides and corners and to polish; the shapeability; and the cutting
rate are all excellent. There isn’t any rusting risk.
Block dimensions vary between
1.50*1.20*0.80m and 3.0*2.0*1.2m. There are quarries which can provide larger blocks
upon request. Plates of 1,2, or 3cm of thickness and desired dimensions can be obtained.
