This Paleosoic marble is a
recrystallised limestone. It is found as lenses in metamorphical schists. All this
sequence is covered by Neogene detritics unconformably. This marble is made of calcite
crystals of crypto formation.
Can be used in interior plating
and decoration.
The suitability to take plate
and the cutting rate are normal. The suitability to cut sides and corners; the shapeabilty;
and the polishability are all good. There isn’t any rusting risk.
Block dimensions vary between
1.50*1.50*1.20m and 2.40*2.00*1.80m. Plates with 2 or 3cm thicknesses and desired
dimensions can be obtained. Some structural fissures has been observed in blocks.
