Triassic aged Supren Marble
is a recrystallised limestone. There is Triassic metamorphic schists at the basement.
Supren marbles are placed above the schists conformably and underlied by ophyolitic
mélange. The marbles, generally showing cataclastic texture and gray-white colors,
have red-pink-yellow veins, zones and patches. Calcite crystals with grain sizes
of 0.9-1.9mm can be found as bands in the marble.
Can be used in interion/exterior
plating, floor covering and decoration. The suitability to take block and plate,
to cut sides and corners; the shapeability are all good. The cutting rate is normal.
There isn’t any rusting risk.
Block dimensions vary between
2.00*0.80*0.80m and 2.80*2.00*1.20m. Plates of 1,2, or 3cm thick and desired dimensions
can be produced.
